About the St. Johns Welfare Federation

The St. Johns Welfare Federation is a private, non-governmental charity and healthcare provider. Since 1924, The St. John Welfare Federation has maintained a rich tradition of care and commitment and has maintained one of the most unparalleled reputations for providing the highest quality healthcare to those in need in St. Johns County and surrounding areas. Caring Hands Caring Community was founded by it parent organization, the Welfare Federation, to support the exceptional services and continuum of care provided to people in need of healthcare services and financial assistance. Most importantly, emphasis is placed throughout the organization and in each program on the importance of caring in a personal way. Our superior level of services include; twenty-four hour skilled nursing care, two assisted living facilities, rehabilitation program, a charitable emergency assistance program, and home health care services.
